Description:Scene of Daniel Boone and other pioneers looking across a river into Kentucky. Allare wearing pioneer clothes. The scene is an allegorical part of the whole painting which includes mythical figures from different cultures in the outermost part of the painting.
History of Work:Exhibited at the Chicago Art Institute in 1924. Bought near Lexington, KY.
