Description: Portrait of Catherine Anne Bradford of the Memphis TN area. She appears to be seated and angled slightly to her left. Her head and blue eyes are turned to look directly at the viewer. Her hair is dark, parted in the middle, and pulled back behind her ears. She is wearing gold hooped earings and a brooch at the neck of the two lace collars topping her black dress.
History: One of three portraits created and attributed to James Hart. Husband, wife: Catherine Anne, and daughter. Registered with Smithsonian Institute.
