Description: Portrait of Watt Charles Bradford of the Memphis TN area. He is seated and facing slightly to his right. His blue eyes are looking directly at the viewer and his curly dark hair is parted on the left and going back over his ears. He is wearing a curious, very tall two-toned collar under his white shirt and grey bowtie. He has on a black topcoat and no visible vest.
History: One of three portraits created and attributed to James Hart. Husband, wife: Catherine Anne, and daughter. Registered with Smithsonian Institute.
