Description:Waist-length three-quarter right profile of a young woman set at an open window frame. Ivy adorns the left side and a red velvet curtain the right. She has pearls woven into her hair and some curls trail down her neck. She is wearing a white dress or blouse and holds a small mixed bouquet in her left hand, which crosses under her right.  The overall effect is a romantic Elizabethan image.
History:Restored by Sandor Bodo in the early 1980s, who referred to this as a "New Orleans style painting," which may lead to more information about the artist.
