Description:Rectangular bust-length nearly frontal of a young woman, the famous actress Charlotte Cushman, who has straight dark brown hair parted in the middle. It falls to her jaw line. She is wearing a simple white dress. Her gaze is up and to her right and a soft halo surrounds her in the background.
History:Exhibited at Gibbes 2000...A Brooklyn Museum exhibit label is attached to the back and dated April 22, 1921.
