History of Work:Portrait painted from a family photograph by the Cookeville, TN artist.
Notes:Christine and husband, Thomas Woodrow (Woody) Denton owened and operated The Portland Hardware Store on Main Street from 1947 to 2001. Their daughter Johnnie Denton Freedle also worked there for several years. Christine was from the Timothy community of Overton County, Tennessee
