Description:Portly man with ruddy complexion seated and looking to his right at viewer. Dark grey hair combed from his left to right. Burgundy Masonic stole with 10 visible stars worn over dark suit, black tie, and white shirt. Right had rests on arm of chair.
History of Work: Restored in 2011 sponsored by the Restoration Fund.

The artist, Washington Bogart Cooper, was commissioned to paint most of the Grand Masters, which explains the approximate date of Claiborne's portrait.
