Description:Middle-aged man seated in a red chair with dark silver slightly wavy hair. He is formally dressed with white high-collared shirt, black tie, vest, and overcoat. The vest is buttoned. His eyeglasses are rectangular.
History:
Notes:A noted doctor, he was the first president of the AMA, and was honored on a Polish stamp. A statue in Augusta, GA also commemorates him.
