Description:Frontal look bust with head slightly turned to the right. Subject dressed in period coat, vest, tie, and white shirt.
History of Work:Unknown, the First Baptist Church acquired the likeness in 2008.
Notes:Reverend Philip Slater Fall began his pastorate at First Baptist Church on May 7, 1826. Later, Pastor Fall became influenced by Alexander Campbell and in 1830 the church divided with many in the Baptist congregation following Pastor Fall in the formation of what is today the Vine Street Christian Church. In 1831, Pastor Fall left Nashville and returned to Kentucky where he had previously served as a minister.
