Description:Three young children with dark hair dressed in white posed in front of a window partially visible on the left. A red drape hangs in the upper right and also on the seat where the central child is located.
History of Work:Original frame (not pictured). According to Cooper's journal, he was paid $200 for the portrait on Sept. 23, 1845. The painting hung at Fairvue before coming to Belmont.
