Description: Bust length miniature of young man with dark, curly hair combed toward his face and heavy eyebrows over eyes looking directly at the viewer. He is wearing a high-collared white shirt, banded at the neck under a white vest covered by a shawl-collared dark topcoat.
History of Work:
Notes: In possession of descendants of Carolyn Williams Vickers of Birmingham. Subject lived in Franklin, Tennessee. He was married to Amanda Gidens Fry and they were parents of Joseph T. Fry and grandparents of Alleen Fry Williams.
