Her face is oval-shaped and her jaw is smaller than her sister's. Her grey velvet dress is decorated with lace around the scooped neckline and there is lace on the straight sleeves above her elbow. Her hands are folded at the wrist and she is holding a red book. She is seated on a black leather or horsehair sofa with wood

Emily was the daughter of Lysander and Elizabeth McGavock who built "Midway" now the centerpiece of Brentwood County Club. The McGavocks came to Brentwood from Max Meadows, VA |
