History: | It appears that the subject may have had a moustache that was painted over and out. Based on the business suit, the work likely dates to the 1930s or later. |
Notes: | The subject wsa a grandson of Susan Fatio and John Claudius L'Engle. He lived in Jacksonville, Florida with his sister. He never married and was a lawyer.
