Description:Waist-length, three-quarter profile of a middle-aged man in business attire with red tie. He has graying hair, cut short, and the background is a soft green that fades to a soft brown in the upper left hand corner.
History:It appears that the subject may have had a moustache that was painted over and out. Based on the business suit, the work likely dates to the 1930s or later.
Notes:The subject wsa a grandson of Susan Fatio and John Claudius L'Engle. He lived in Jacksonville, Florida with his sister. He never married and was a lawyer.
