Description:An elegant full-length portrait of a young dark-haired woman standing in front of a chair with her left leg folded and resting on the chair seat. She is wearing a red dress with an uneven hemline; her left arm rests across the back of the chair; and her right hand grasps the right arm of the chair. There is a vase of flowers on a table to her right, and her white-stockinged right leg (with gold slipper) rests on what appears to be an animal skin rug.
History of Work:Artist was from Florence, Italy - Portrait now owned by subject's niece.
