Description:Dapper man with a full reddish beard, well-groomed, balding, nearly frontal, waist-length with hands clasped and raised on his right wide as resting on support at near shoulder height.
History of Work:
Notes:Subject held a seat on the New York Stock Exchange, was president of the Salamagundy Club in New York City located at 5th and 12th, was a philanthropist who was listed in Who Was Who in Art for his contributions, and was himself an amateur artist of considerable skill. He married Martha Woolwine from Nashville in 1905.
