Description:Full length portrait of a girl seated on a grassy bank with flowers. Blue sky is seen overhead. She has blue eyes, reddish-brown curls, and a blue bow on top of her head. Her expression is very serious, and she is holding a bouguet of pink roses.
History of Work: Restored by Cumberland Art Conservation - Inscription reads "B. F. Reinhard (Reinhaus) Aug. t 17th 68"

The portrait of Johnnie Hunt Morgan was donated to the John Hunt Morgan museum in Lexington, Kentucky by Teenie Hooker Buchtel's son, John Buchtel, in 2007.
Notes: Sitter was the daughter of Mattie Ready and John Hunt Morgan.
