Description:Dark silvery grey beard and thick hair. Black suit and tie; white shirt. Black Masonic stole with 5 visible stars supports the compass emblem which hangs at the waist. Suggested sunset or dawn in dark background.
History of Work: Restoration in 2011 sponsored by the Restoration Fund.

The artist, Washington Bogart Cooper, was commissioned to paint most of the Grand Masters, which explains the approximate date of Claiborne's portrait.
