There is a bookcase full of volumes to her right, and she is facing three-quarter right and looking to the left of the viewer. She wears a dark short-sleeved dress with a brooch at the bodice of the v-neck. Her grey hair is parted in the middle and pulled up behind her head and she is wearing glasses..
