Description:Frontal bust-length of an older man, clean shaven with white and silvery-gray hair. His cheekbones are prominent against his sunken cheeks and his mouth is gathered in creased lips above a cleft chin. His coat is black and he is wearing a ruffled Edwardian collar. The light is strong on his right side.
History:Artist travelled to Beersheba Springs in search of subjects. This man put on the collar for the occasion.
Notes:Artist married Clarence Edwards Sinclair and never painted after she married.
