Description:Bust-length of a dark-haired woman in dramatically colored dress: bold patterns of red, tan, black, and green. She also has a colorful (blue, tan, & more) scarf (?) on her head. Her cheeks are rouged, her lips bright red. She is wearing a carnelian red double strand necklace with a gold clasp at her throat.
History:Featured in the Tennessee Historical Quarterly, Spring 2002 Volume, p. 26. Owner also suggested to check with Cheekwood for exhibition history there.
