Description:Seated waist-length three-quarter right profile of young woman in a dress with a dark bodice, high lace collar, lace layer to bustline, and white sleeves trimmed in a broad floral band of red and blue. Her brown hair is pulled on top of her head and soft curls frame her face. The net effect is Elizabethan.
History:Copy of a Matthew Jouett work painted prior to 1834 when subject died in Boyle County, Kentucky.
