He is wearing a black, double-breasted tail coat over a patterned brown and black vest and dark grey trousers. His very large collar is banded with a black, loosely tied bow tie. His hair is dark and combed toward his face in front of his ears, and his right arm is resting on a brown panel with his right hand visible. There is a lighter brown column to his right behind the panel, and the rest of the background is shades of green and gray.
