Description:Likeness of Albert Gallatin--head view facing slightly to viewer's left. Black coat, white shirt and tie. Subject is balding on top with long greying hair over the ears.
History:Drawn by Hal Keene of Gallatin, Tennessee, a local artist of note who passed away in 2008.
Notes:Albert Gallatin for whom Gallatin, Tennessee was named, was Secretary of the U. S. Treasury, a genius in finance, Senator, Representative, Champion of Democracy. Born in 1761, died in 1849. Never came to Gallatin, Tennessee.
