Description:Frame is period rectangular gilded wood frame with reverse black painted glass mat with gold band. (Not original to the miniature.) Rectangular conposition is interesting in that the lady is off center to the right. Her brown hair is parted in the middle, flattened to her head with small ringlets hanging in front of her ears. She wears a dark blue dress with a lace collar.
