History:Mlle. Lundegren was a French lady who boarded with several families in Franklin and who made a living painting portraits of prominent people.
Notes:Subject was the son of William Harrison, Jr. and Martha Terrell and was born 21 August 1849 near Thompson Station. He died 18 February 1910 in Franklin. He operated a successful dry goods business and ammassed a fortune by 1889. He was a primary force in founding the Williamson Banking and Trust company and was believed to have funded a significant portion of the cost of building the Presbyterian Church located at Five Points. He married Anne Bennett Briggs of Franklin 20 October 1869. Childless, they adopted Annie James Briggs, niece of Mrs. Grigs, and one of the six children of her deceased bother, George Briggs.
