Description:An oval miniature of a woman with dark hair, parted in the middle, and curls gathered over the ear. Her dark dress has a white collar, and she is wearing a brooch at the bottom of the v-neckline.
History:Probably painted in Davidson TN.
Notes:25 April 1808-31 Oct 1871. Owner's great-great-grandmother. Subject was the wife of the minister of the First Vine St. Baptist Church and First Baptist Church, Robert Boyte Crawford Howell.
