Notes:"King David" was one of 12 millionaires living in Natchez, MS when the toal number of U.S. millionaires was 35. Born in 1779 in New Jersey, he died on May 18, 1861 in Woodlawn MS near Natchez. Ultimately he owned 1,700 slaves and 25 separate plantations. His brother was Anderson Hunt, portrait #219. More infromation on file at TSM. David Hunt's first wife was Mary Calvit and his second wife was Ann Jane Ferguson. He has descendants by his second wife Ann. He is a descendant of Ralph Hunt. David was a resident of Hunterdon County, New Jersey before moving to Mississippi.
