  • History:Even though it is beyond the cut-off date (1941) for the current study, this work was included due to the importance of the subject and the artist. Dudley was a key person in the ratification of the 19th amendment allowing women suffrage. Davis was a prominent artist, working primarily in the 1950s in Middle Tennessee.
