Description:Older man with elaborate uniform--gold buttons down gold border of blue coat. Golden vest over flowing white shirt with attached cravat. He wears a gray wig, has ruddy cheeks, and, although he is facing slightly left, his bright blue eyes are looking directly at the viewer.
History:Frame not original. Probably done while Sevier was a Congressman 1745-1814.
