Notes:Frances was the daughter of John and Frances (Alexander) Aiken of Delaware. After the deaths of her first husband, Dr. David Thompson, and her parents, she moved to Jonesborough, Tennessee, where her brothers had settled. On December 25, 1800, she married John McAlister II.
