History:Restored by Cumberland Art Conservation - Inscription reads "B. F. Reinhard (Reinhaus) Aug. t 17th 68" The portrait of Johnnie Hunt Morgan was donated to the John Hunt Morgan museum in Lexington, Kentucky by Teenie Hooker Buchtel's son, John Buchtel, in 2007.
Notes:Sitter was the daughter of Mattie Ready and John Hunt Morgan.
