Description:Three-quarters right profile of a middle-aged man wearing a white shirt and tie and a black coat. His silvery hair is parted on his right and his sideburns come to just below his ear. The background is a red drape and books are to his left.
History:Reproduction of a ca. 1820 portrait attributed to Washington Cooper, copied by Mr. Joseph H. Sulkowski and commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Wickersham June in honor of Mrs. Edwin W. Craig (Elizabeth Wade).
Notes:Judge Overton ,1766-1833, painted as an older man.
