Notes:Married Nancy Anne Taylor. William Lytle, of Hillsboro, N.C., was the son of Robert Lytle (1729-1774) and Sarah Mebane Lytle, and served in the Sixth, First, and Fourth regiments of the North Carolina Line during the Revolutionary War.
