The Alcorns had several children including Gertrude who married Percy Blackiston Russell, originally of Kansas. Gertrude and Percy Russell resided in Memphis, TN after their marriage. They had 7 children including Gertrude Alcorn Russell who married Dr. Giles Augustus Coors. The Coors had 3 children George Alcorn Coors who married Jeanne Parham, Giles Augustus Coors who married Sophie Woodson, and Gertrude Russell Coors who married John Sheaffer of Fort Madison, Iowa. Portrait is owned by the subject's great-great-granddaughter.
