History:Painted for the Stokes son, Thomas Stokes, Christmas of 1918. Passed down through the Stokes, Davis and Murfree families. Painted at Breezemont, the Stokes family Home, on Stokes Plantation on Hillsboro Road, Nashville TN, where I-440 currently passes through. Painted by Mrs. Stokes' sister.
