Description:Extremely well painted oval portrait of a young boy wearing a light blue dress. Date 1849 painted on bottom. View is full frontal of blue-eyed, blonde-haired child age approx 2-3 years. Distinct shape in background--a chair? Frame is original gold plated on copper.
