Description:Three quarters length standing portrait of Tennessee State Senator Anna Belle Clement O’Brien standing before the Tennessee State Capitol. Subject is wearing a purple jacket and skirt with a red neckerchief around her neck, and pearl earrings. Left hand is by the subject's side and right hand rests upon a rail. Subject is smiling and looking head-on at the viewer.
History:Commissioned by former CEO of Dollar General Cal Turner, Jr. in 2021 for the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum in Dickson, TN (the site where Senator O’Brien’s brother, Governor Frank G. Clement, was born in 1920). The portrait was completed in 2022 and delivered to the Clement Museum by artist Joseph Sulkowski. The frame is original and the portrait hangs in the dining room of the Clement Museum.
