History:Note on reverse nearly verbatim here: "One of six painted for Lady Cynthia Colindale, a great aunt of the Warwick family. Passed to Earl of Huntingdon who resided at Seaton Hall Buckinghamshire. Many years later sold at Christies London. Exhibited at the Society of Artists 1774."
