History:This portrait was presented to the Morristown-Hamblen Library in subject's memory in 1987.
Notes:Meta Turley Goodson, Hamblen County Library Board Chairman 1947-1950. Miss Meta Turley Goodson was not only a Board member, but also a major contributor and supporter for the construction of the Morristown-Hamblen Library building which was completed and ribbon ceremony held in January 1969. The library is still in the same location today.
