History:Mlle. Lundegren was a French lady who boarded with several families in Franklin and who made a living painting portraits of prominent people.
Notes:Subject was the second child of Isaac Wilkins Briggs and Dolly Madison Bennett Briggs and was born 20 February 1836 in Williamson County, Tennessee. Subject died 20 June 1922. She married James William Harrison 10 October 1869. They had no children and adopted Annie James Briggs, one of 6 children of her deceased brother, George Briggs. As reported in an article in the May 8, 1932 issue of The Nashville Banner, her escapades during the Civil War were legendary in aiding Confederate soldiers. She is described as an
