Notes:Born January 1, 1820 to Reverend Henry Cato Horton and Elizabeth Elliott Kennedy in Camden, South Carolina. Reverend Horton was of the Methodist faith. Married James Boyd Sharpe on June 8, 1842. They lived in Williamson County, Tennessee. Subject had no children. She raised the daughter of sister, Sara Horton Lavender and James Fletcher Lavender, after her sister's death. Name of daughter is Laura Margaret. Miranda died on October 14, 1903 in Nashville, Tennessee and was buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
