  • Description:Slightly more than waist-length seated portrait of a young man with dark ear-length hair. Moustache is thin and trimmed. A tuft of hair grows beneath his lower lip. His right arm rests on a table and his right hand holds the neck of a guitar that is apparently resting on the floor. His jacket is dark grey, his neck scarf black, his vest white with horizonatal grey stripes, and his white shirt is ruffled. His left hand, partially visible, rests on his lap. His coloring is high, his posture erect. The overall impact is that of a "dandy."
  • History:Hung in a Selma, AL hotel. Originally from Retiacy Plantation.
