Notes:Jane Eliza Porter Campbell was born in Nashville, Tennessee in July 1807 and died on Dec. 2, 1849 in Jackson Tennessee. She is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Jackson, Tennessee. She was married to John William Campbell, and the portrait was painted just before their marriage.
