  • Description:Seated three-quarter left profile of an older man with thinning silver hair that forms a singular down-pointed whisp on his forehead. His reddish sideburns come almost to the jawline. Dressed in formal attire, he is seated on a red chair or sofa. A circular spot a bit larger than a tennis ball is visible off his right shoulder, which was a previous aborted cleaning attempt.
  • Notes:Notes Subject lived from Feb 8, 1781 to March 10, 1846. Born in Newbury, MA and died in Bucksport ME. He was theson of Henry Little and Elizabeth Bailey. He passed the bar in 1805 and helped to write the constitution of Maine. He married Caroline E. bowers and then Eliza P. Stone.
