History:Owners believe Myra Thompson of Spring Hill painted this portrait along with same owner's portrait of Capt. M. C. Campbell. However this portrait is signed M R Thompson while others by this artist are signed Myra Thompson. Signatures appear to slightly differ. This painting has been in family since painted and was recently restored. It is in the original frame.
Notes:Subject married Mattie (Patsy) Campbell (daughter of Capt. McCoy Clemson Campbell) and great-aunt of owner of portrait.
