Description:Black and white copy of a mature woman in a bonnett and cape. The bonnett has ruffles around the face and a high ribbon on top. The cape is decorated with a light-colored wide ribbon trim along the edges of the over-sized lapels.
History:The original hung in Hazelpath Mansion in Hendersonville, TN.
Notes:The subject lived from 1781-1857. She was the daughter of General Daniel Smith. She married Samuel Donelson and James Sanders.
