Description:Seated three-quarter length of a young woman whose straight dark brown hair is parted in the middle and pulled back. She is wearing a dark grey off the shoulder dress, perhaps velvet. It's three-quarter length sleeves have an open tied weave from the elbow down.
History:Restored by Cumberland Art Conservation in 1995.
Notes:Subject was one of John Thompson's four wives.
