History:History of Work Artist was twelve years old when she painted the subject at age five. The artist married Robert Henry Pickering and lived from ca. 1887-1982. Picture of artist and subject as mature women on the reverse.
Notes:The subject lived from 1893-1985 and was the daughter of Charles Percy Warfield and Mary Rice, both of Clarksville.
