  • Description:Waist-length three-quarter left profile of man wearing a black overcoat with three buttons visible in his left side, and a yellow vest and creme colored ruffled shirt. He has large brown eyes and wavy/curly light brown hair. The curls in front of his ears are particularly noticeable. *Posthumously created.
  • History:This is a copy of an original work by Kentucky painter Matthew Jouett. Wilkininson, the copy artist, was from Savannah, GA.
  • Notes:Sitter was reportedly the first male white child born in Kentucky on February 20, 1794 in Franklin County, Kentucky.
